A few words on coaching

The power of coaching led me to become a coach. This video from the Find More Balance Youtube channel is just as relevant today. I speak on the impact having a coach has had on me and why it may be worth looking into. It takes one to know one!

  • “The two most pivotal people in helping me launch my career were Oprah Winfrey and Rich Jones.”

Paul Carrick Brunson, Entrepreneur & TV Host

  • "Not only did I leave our session with an understanding about what I was about to do, but I felt empowered and unafraid to go do it. Yes, I would certainly hire Rich again."

Barbara Kaplan, CEO of BSK Strategies

Clients come to me to…

  • Often times, people come to me stuck in a loop. They keep ending up in the same spot despite their best efforts. I help clients break the cycle(s) holding them back from achieving their goals and finding more freedom.

  • Some clients want to lose some weight, cut back on the beverages, get back into a sport, and/or show up better when it counts. That requires establishing new habits and shedding old ones. I support clients through the process.

  • Some come to me after they’ve had an inflection point or event that forces them to finally consider their health and wellness. They’re overwhelmed with everything they need to do. I help sequence, devise a plan of attack, and provide guidance where needed.

  • Folks coming to me are often past athletes and very goal-oriented. Whether it’s getting a promotion or getting across the finish line, I provide the accountability and structure to help clients achieve big goals.

What you get by working with me

  • It’s difficult to stay motivated when no one’s watching. Especially if you don’t enjoy or understand the work (whatever that may be). Having a regular coaching check-in provides accountability to make progress by the next meeting. This helps build momentum.

  • You choose your adventure. I ask the questions and provide the prompts to help you achieve your goals. I’m also a resource for wellness questions and can provide recommendations when needed.

  • I want to provide at least one space where you can just be. I’m here to listen and support, not critique, judge, and label. It goes with out saying; our conversations are confidential and won’t pop up on any of my platforms (I’ve heard horror stories of this).

  • I understand that lack of confidence can keep you stuck in a loop.

My job as a coach is to help you build confidence so you can thrive without me after you’ve achieved the goal(s) we set for our time together.

  • I’ve worked in Corporate America for 17+ years — primarily in human resources. I leverage my expertise and experience on both sides of the table to help clients thrive inside and outside of work.

I’m taking a small number of new clients. Book your free 20-minute discovery call to see if I’m the right coach for you.
